Why This Podcast Matters

Appearing on the MacAdmins Podcast isn't just a cool milestone—it's validation that the Latin American Apple IT community has a voice worth amplifying. For years, enterprise Apple administration has been dominated by North American and European perspectives. Training materials, conference keynotes, and best-practice guides often assumed a context that didn't quite fit our reality: different procurement processes, unique compliance requirements, varying levels of vendor support, and the everyday challenge of managing Apple devices across diverse economic and infrastructure landscapes.

Tom, Marcus, and Selina gave us the space to tell that story honestly. We talked about the victories (landing our first enterprise Jamf Pro deployment in Mexico City) and the struggles (explaining to procurement why you can't just buy Macs the same way you buy Dell laptops). We discussed how community-driven knowledge sharing has filled gaps that vendor documentation sometimes leaves open for our region.

What's Next

Recording this episode reminded us how far we've come and how much further we want to go. We're planning our third community meeting before JNUC 2026, and we're exploring ways to bring in-person gatherings to more cities. The dream is simple: every Mac admin in Latin America should know they aren't alone.
